Raw Brownies.....Yummmmmmy!

This is just one of the delicious recipes!
from Kelly Parr's blogsite:

bRAWnie bites
2 cups cashews
2 cups walnuts
1 cup cacao powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup maple syrup (grade B)
1/2 cup dark agave
1/2 cup water
1/2 vanilla bean – scraped

In a food processor blend nuts into a flour
add cinnamon and cacao powder
Mix in wet ingredients and blend well

Pour batter into a 9 x 13 pan lined with wax paper
Place on the lower shelf of a dehydrator for around 12 hours

Lift “bRAWnies” out of pan, remove wax paper and cut “bRAWnies” into squares. Place the brownie squares on a dehydrator screen for about another 6 hours or so.

Then dress ’em up with this “chocolate ganache” found in the ”Raw for Dessert” book! But once again.. I tweeked the recipe- just a bit!
Mix in a high power blender…
* 1 Cup dark agave syrup
* 3/4 Cup cacao powder
* 1/3 Cup virgin coconut butter
* 1 tsp vanilla

Smear on the ganache generously… and share with a special friend!

Think About This!

Fear less, hope more;
Eat less, chew more;
Whine less, breathe more;
Talk less, say more;
Love more, and all good things will be yours.

Let it go...NOW!

"Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering.

When you become good at the art of letting sufferings go, then you'll come to realize how unnecessary it was for you to drag those burdens around with you.

You'll see that no one else other than you was responsible. The truth is that existence wants your life to become a festival."

- Osho, was an Indian mystic and teacher

-

‎"All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you. The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration. You may succeed in making another ...feel guilty about something by blaming him, but you won't succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy."
- Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Aim High....Reaching For The Dream!

I aim my passions in the direction of my interests.
I am living the life I want to be living. I am doing what I want to be doing. My passion is easy to elicit and natural.

I avoid negative people. I live my life with other strong people, people of passion and meaning. I feed off their energy, and they feed off of mine. We are all people of projects. We are busy with work that captures our imagination. I look forward to my life, to my work, and to my aspirations. I am living the life that I was meant to be living.

No matter what happens, I keep my head in the game. I look at the big picture and stay focused. I don’t let the world get me down. I am respectful and kind, but I won’t submit or deny my own life for the betterment of another’s. If I make a sacrifice, it’s because I want to, not because I have to.

I focus on keeping myself strong and energetic. I follow my dreams and let the energy of my natural passion carry me.

I can be my most productive when I’m doing what I love. I keep my passion and imagination strong by taking good care of myself.

I eat well and sleep well. I pay careful attention to how my body feels, and I exercise often. I feel the peace and comfort that comes with a healthy body. I’m confident in my health.

Questions of Reflection:

1. Am I as passionate as I have been in the past?
2. What can I do to become more passionate?
3. Am I living a life that is in line with my passion?
